The DC Independent FIlm Festival is hosting the east coast premiere of "Contact Tracing," a 90-minute dramedy that follows a public health nurse tracking COVID-positive cases for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during the early days of the pandemic. Inspired by a true story, "Contact Tracing" paints a complex picture of a historical moment in time and the invisible labor of women of all ages and all backgrounds during times of crisis.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Amy Tofte.
