Center for Interprofessional Education

The Center for Interprofessional Education advances the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s vision of preparing all students to deliver high-quality, affordable health care and human services through a collaborative, team-based approach. The center’s leadership recognizes that many faculty and staff support interprofessional learning activities in addition to their primary responsibilities within their respective schools.

To support this important work, the Center for Interprofessional Education annually accepts proposals for sustaining funds that advance interprofessional education initiatives. Each year, up to five proposals will be selected for funding.

Awardees may receive up to $10,000 annually for two years, with the option for renewal based on the level of student involvement demonstrated during the previous funding period.

Faculty and staff engaged in interprofessional learning are encouraged to apply.
