The University of Maryland, Baltimore Center for Cyber, Health, and Hazard Strategies (CHHS) is offering two virtual tabletop exercises to help long-term care facilities strengthen emergency preparedness, coordination, and response.

Participants will work through emergency scenarios and explore challenges such as resident evacuation, sheltering in place, staffing shortages, medical surge, infection prevention, communication, and continuity of operations.

Choose one of two sessions:

  • Thursday, Nov. 12 | 9:30 a.m. to noon

  • Friday, Nov. 20 | 9:30 a.m. to noon

Both sessions offer the same half-day, community-based exercise, so participants only need to attend one.

These exercises provide an opportunity for long-term care professionals to evaluate their emergency plans, identify potential gaps, and strengthen their ability to protect residents and maintain essential services during a crisis.

Register for an exercise.
