Oct. 27: Join UMB Reads! Book Club for Our Fall Hybrid Discussion
October 06, 2026
UMB Reads! invites all members of the UMB community to join our hybrid concluding discussion of "The Thin Book of Trust: An Essential Primer for Building Trust at Work," Third Edition, by Charles Feltman.
Having completed the book, we will reflect on how trust is built, maintained, and repaired through four key dimensions: care, sincerity, reliability, and competence. Together, we’ll consider how these principles shape our relationships, influence our workplace experiences, and contribute to a stronger UMB community.
As we continue highlighting UMB’s core value set of Respect and Integrity, this session will explore how each of us can help cultivate a culture where people feel valued, communication is honest, commitments are honored, and trust can grow.
Whether you joined us earlier this fall or are attending for the first time, all are welcome. Join us in person in the Sherman Center, located on the fourth floor of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library in the back left corner from the elevator, or virtually for a meaningful conversation as we conclude this fall’s shared read together.
