Feb. 20: Join Us for the Gibson-Banks Center for Race and the Law’s Lunch and Learn
February 10, 2026
Please join the Gibson-Banks Center for Race and the Law for a lunch and learn panel discussion on Friday, Feb. 20, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The panel will feature Dr. Tiffany Crutcher, founder and executive director of the Terence Crutcher Foundation (TCF), and staff members. TCF’s mission is to create just and liberated communities free from violence and harm through policy advocacy, grassroots organizing, and honoring the legacy of Black Wall Street at the local, state, and national levels.
TCF was founded in 2017 following the police killing of Terence Crutcher Sr., the twin brother of Dr. Crutcher, in Tulsa, Okla. The Crutcher family turned pain into purpose by seeking justice for Terence, public safety for all Tulsans, and reparations for the survivors and descendants of the 1921 Race Massacre in Tulsa, during which an estimated 300 Tulsans died and over 1,000 homes and businesses burned in the thriving Greenwood community, also known as Black Wall Street.
The panel discussion will inform local and statewide efforts in Maryland to advance public safety and police accountability and reparations for the descendants of Black enslaved people.
Please reserve a spot and indicate whether you will attend in person or virtually.
Lunch will be provided for those who attend in person.
