Launch Your Life Plant Workshop: Creating Greener Spaces with Victoria Meadows

Join Victoria Meadows, MS, MSL, assistant director of the Enterprise Risk Management program at UMB, for an engaging and interactive plant workshop focused on bringing nature indoors and creating healthier environments.
Participants will learn practical tips for selecting, caring for, and maintaining houseplants, including guidance on watering, sunlight, soil needs, and troubleshooting common plant-care challenges. Employees will also explore how plants can enhance indoor spaces by improving aesthetics, promoting relaxation, and creating a stronger connection to nature.
As part of the workshop, each participant will select a tropical plant or succulent, pot it in a container, and take it home or back to their workspace. This hands-on experience will provide employees with both the knowledge and confidence to care for their plant while creating a greener and more welcoming environment.
