Managing Your Qualitative Data with the Qualitative Data Repository
Thursday, Feb. 12 | 1 to 2 p.m. | Zoom

In this webinar, researchers will learn about options for sharing qualitative data, with a focus on the Qualitative Data Repository (QDR), a repository to which the University of Maryland, Baltimore has an institutional membership. The session will cover qualitative data sharing norms and practices across the social, health, and other human-focused sciences.
The presenter will highlight practical strategies for organizing qualitative materials throughout a project to support reuse and long-term archiving. QDR’s associate director will also share examples of published qualitative data, including projects involving sensitive data and varying levels of access control, demonstrate the deposit process, and highlight data available for teaching and learning.
This webinar is intended for faculty, students, and staff using qualitative or mixed-methods approaches, particularly those preparing data management or data sharing plans for grant applications.
