The UMSON Curriculum Committee webpage has recently been updated to include several new faculty resources intended to provide additional guidance when developing courses, proposing graduate electives or post-baccalaureate certificate (PBC) coursework, and considering cross-listing opportunities.

New resources include:

• NELC Elective Course Numbering and Student Eligibility Guide: This provides guidance regarding 400-, 500-, and 600-level NELC course numbering, student eligibility by academic program, and considerations related to RN licensure requirements.
• Graduate Electives and PBC Coursework Review Guidance: This provides guidance for faculty proposing PBC courses, graduate electives, or graduate-level coursework intended to satisfy MSN, DNP, or PhD elective requirements.
• Cross-Listing Guide: This provides guidance for faculty considering cross-listing elective courses, including considerations that should be addressed before developing syllabi or submitting proposal materials.

These resources are intended to help faculty identify applicable requirements and considerations earlier in the course development and curriculum review process.
