The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy has launched a new Graduate Certificate in Medical Cannabis Clinical Science, offering health care professionals evidence-based education focused on the clinical application of medical cannabis and patient care. 

The 12-credit certificate can be completed in two semesters and is fully online, making it a flexible option for working professionals looking to add medical cannabis expertise to their practice. 

Students explore therapeutic uses of medical cannabis, cannabinoid pharmacotherapy, clinical decision-making, patient counseling, dosing strategies, adverse effects, and evidence-based treatment approaches. 

Spring 2027 enrollment is now open. Apply by Dec. 1.
