The Law & Health Care Program at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites you to join us as we welcome Mark Del Monte, JD, for the second fall event in the 2026/2027 Rothenberg Speaker Series. The theme for this year’s series is “Misinformation, Misrepresentation, and Mistrust in Health Care.”
Del Monte's talk is titled "Trust, Truth, and Public Health."
Del Monte is chief executive officer/executive vice president of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Prior to this role, he served as the AAP’s chief deputy and senior vice president for advocacy and external affairs. Before joining AAP in 2005, Del Monte served as director of policy and government affairs for the AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth & Families.
