Topic: “Demystifying QI and Research”
Casey Jackson, MS, CCRP, UMSON director of research, quality improvement (QI), and compliance, will be discussing the differences between QI initiatives and human subjects research studies, their relational importance to each other, the regulatory importance for their distinction, and how to ease the burden of obtaining a non-human subjects research determination for QI projects from an authoritative reviewer.
