UMSON invites nominations and applications for chair, Department of Partnerships, Professional Education, and Practice. The chair is the administrative officer of the department, reports directly to the dean, and leads departmental faculty members in UMSON’s tripartite mission of education, research and scholarship, and service. The department includes the Clinical Simulation Labs on the Baltimore Campus, the Standardized Patient Program, the Institute for Educators, the Office of Professional Education, the Office of Global Health, and the Governor’s Wellmobile Program. Current departmental chair Veronica Gutchell, assistant professor, will be retiring at the end of the fall 2026 semester.
