Help us study how GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Trulicity, Wegovy, etc.) affect blood flow in the eye and throughout the body. Your participation will help us understand the effects of these commonly used diabetes and weight-loss medications on the eye and overall vascular health.

Study Snapshot: 5 visits total

  • Pre-treatment
  • 1 week after starting treatment 
  • 1 month after treatment 
  • 3 months after treatment
  • 6 months starting treatment

Part 1: Pictures of eye circulation
Part 2: Pictures of eye structure
Part 3: Nailfold Imaging

Study duration: 1.5 to 2 hours

Compensation: $250 ($50 gift card per visit)

Eligibility

Must Be:

  • Age 18 and older
  • Starting treatment with GLP-1 receptor agonist

 Must Not Have:

  • Ocular diseases or surgeries that interfere with imaging
  • Known problems with your optic nerve
  • Pregnant
  • Adverse reaction to dilation
