Participants are needed for a research study exploring the effect of virtual reality (VR) on cancer and cancer treatment-related symptoms at home. This University of Maryland School of Nursing research study seeks to learn if VR can help manage pain, neuropathy, fatigue, anxiety, and difficulty sleeping from the comfort of home.
You might be eligible if:

You have a recent solid tumor diagnosis (ex: breast, lung, colon, prostate, liver)

You are receiving active treatment

Radiation
-
Chemotherapy
-
Hormone Related Therapy
Study Activities:
-
VR or Audio Multimodal Integrative Therapy Sessions five times per week, each between three to 15 minutes, for four weeks

Daily symptom questionnaires

Weekly symptom questionnaires

Wear an activity tracker 24/7 during the study
Research participants will receive $100 upon completion of the study.
