We are conducting a research study Exploring Generational Expectations and Learner Engagement in Nursing Education. We are looking for people to participate in a focus group about generational differences in nursing education. We would like your input to develop strategies to improve teaching and learning environments for both students and faculty.
Who can participate?
Pre-licensure BSN students and faculty teaching BSN students at the Baltimore and USG campuses of the University of Maryland School of Nursing. All participants must be 18 years or older.
What is involved?
First you will complete a short eligibility and demographic survey. If eligible, you will be invited to participate in a 45- to 60-minute in-person focus group on campus. During the focus group, you will meet with other similar individuals and be asked to share your experiences related to classroom engagement, communication, technology, and expectations. Focus group participants may also volunteer to be part of an advisory board that reviews initial findings and recommendations.
