The University of Maryland School of Nursing PhD Program is pleased to announce the availability of the PhD Program Dissertation Grant, designed to support dissertation research conducted by PhD students. Two grants are awarded per year (December 1 and July 1).

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a PhD student at the University of Maryland School of Nursing
• Must have successfully defended the dissertation proposal
• Must not have received additional dissertation funding from NIH or AHRQ
• Must be in good academic standing

The application includes a written research proposal, a letter of support from the dissertation chair, and required appendices.

The next application deadline is July 1.
