We are pleased to announce that Ardith Allison will defend her dissertation proposal on Tuesday, April 7 at 10:00AM in the Dean’s conference room, 5E11(5th floor of MSW building) and on Zoom. Her project is titled: A Phenomenological Study on Loss, Separation, and Resilience in Non-Hispanic Black/African American Children of Incarcerated Parents. Ardith’s dissertation is chaired by Dr. Melissa Smith, and her committee includes Drs. Theda Rose, Ericka Lewis, Brook Kearly, Laurie Graham, and outside member Dr. Amy Morgan (UMD).
