Photovoice Worldwide recently featured a community-based Photovoice Project led by Laurie Graham, PhD, MSW, and Theda Rose, PhD, MSW, from the School of Social Work, on the national organization’s LinkedIn page.

#nofilter: A Youth-led Photovoice Journey" was a collaborative project involving scholars at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB); the Erin Levitas Initiative for Sexual Violence Prevention; a grassroots community-based youth-serving organization, HeartSmiles; and the Erin Levitas Foundation, with funding from the Maryland General Assembly. The overarching aim of the project was to elevate youth voice in sexual violence prevention research and practice. The project explored three concepts that are core to sexual violence prevention: boundaries, consent, and social connections.
