After months of hard work by the co-chairs and logistics and steering committees — augmented by valuable feedback from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) community — UMB’s 2027-2031 Strategic Plan has been completed.
This strategic plan, which will guide UMB's collective priorities over the next five years, features six themes, each with a Strategic Objective and four to five Strategic Outcomes.
The themes are:
- United for Impact
- Student, Faculty, and Staff Success
- Future-Ready Graduate and Professional Education
- Research and Scholarship Excellence
- Community and Global Engagement
- Innovation and Digital Transformation
