The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) is pleased to announce an update to the Research Collaborator Agent (Darwin), UMB’s AI-powered tool designed to help researchers identify expertise and collaboration opportunities across the university.

This latest enhancement introduces Kuali proposal and award information, giving users access to a broader set of research-related data and providing more comprehensive results when searching for potential collaborators. In addition, performance improvements have made the agent more responsive, helping users find information faster and more efficiently.

Whether you’re building a new research team, exploring areas of expertise, or identifying collaborators for future funding opportunities, Darwin now delivers richer insights and an improved user experience.

Access the Research Collaborator Agent (Darwin) through the AI Solutions page. For more information about AI tools and services available at UMB, visit the AI at UMB website.
