Research Spark Session: All are welcome to attend and listen!

Location: Health Sciences Research Facility III, Classroom 1010, First Floor (670 W. Baltimore St.)
This session is designed for research faculty mid-pivot who need to stress-test specific aims with senior experts.
Present your new research approach publicly in a lightning talk format with slides and receive live and immediate feedback from an expert panel. This is a rare opportunity to have seasoned researchers from across the University of Maryland School of Medicine provide input on your proposed research. Due to time constraints, those who wish to present must submit an application, and six will be chosen based on maturity of the proposed work. All are welcome to attend the event.
Application requirements:
1) Must be a full-time UMB faculty member
2) Must have performed a scoping literature search and have a well-developed research question
3) Submit by 12 p.m., Jan. 30, to UMSOMCARTI@som.umaryland.edu with subject line: "Research Spark Application":
a. Your CV
b. Specific aims of your new project
4) If chosen, you will be asked to present your current work and proposed future work
a. Within three minutes
b. Using three slides, maximum
