Seed Grant Funding Opportunity: Interprofessional Education

The Center for Interprofessional Education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is pleased to announce the availability of Seed Grant funding to support innovative interprofessional education (IPE) projects. Faculty and staff are encouraged to apply for funding to advance interprofessional initiatives across the University.
Proposed projects should be practice- or classroom-focused and include both educational and evaluative components that employ the IPEC Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice. Suggested project themes include, but are not limited to, health equity, health literacy, simulation-based IPE, and clinical-based IPE.
Seed Grants provide funding of up to $25,000, which may be used toward salary and benefit support or a stipend, pending approval from the individual’s supervisor in their primary UMB school.
The application deadline is April 10, 2026.
