Seeking a Doctoral Nursing Student (DNP or PhD) to Provide Research and Data Management Support
July 17, 2026The UMSON 10 for $10,000 innovation grant project "Nurse-Led Diabetic Foot Ulcer Prevention and Education Bundle" seeks a doctoral nursing student (DNP or PhD) to provide research and data management support.
The primary responsibilities of this position include: 1) managing and maintaining study data within REDCap; 2) developing, modifying, and monitoring REDCap surveys and databases; 3) performing data cleaning, data quality checks, and data management activities; 4) assisting with data extraction, reporting, and preliminary analysis; 5) maintaining study documentation and supporting regulatory compliance; and 6) providing other project-related administrative support as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Current DNP or PhD in Nursing student or a related health sciences field
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with REDCap, including survey development, database management, data exports, and data quality monitoring
- Experience with research studies, quality improvement initiatives, or health care data management preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Familiarity with data management, data cleaning, and reporting processes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks
POSITION DETAILS
- commitment: approximately 4 - 6 hours per week

- $15 - $19/hour
