September 14 - 20 is National Wellness Week! The Strategic Engagement and Impact (SEI) Council Wellness Committee invites you to join us for a week of mindfulness activities.

Have a little fun throughout the week while hunting treasure! Rubber duckies will be placed strategically throughout the School of Nursing building. Find a duck, scan the QR code on the bottom, and be entered into a raffle!  

Monday, Sept. 14 – Come learn about some of the wellness resources available to UMSON students and spend some time with therapy dog Officer Poe.

Tuesday, Sept. 15 – Get a free journal and learn how journaling can be a great mindful activity and a source of self-reflection and goal setting with URecFit and Wellness.

Wednesday, Sept. 16 – Attend a Red Folder Training to learn the signs of distress and how to respond accordingly. Great for both self and community care. Lunch will be provided.

Thursday, Sept. 17 – Get crafty with the Wellness Committee and make a vision board! De-stress while creating a visual representation of the strength that got you here and the things that will help you persevere.
