UMB security officers are the "eyes and ears" of our campus. They keep our building entrances secure, patrol our campus and parking garages, drive our Safe Rides, and much more.
Security officer appreciation week is Sept. 20-26. There are many simple ways you can share your appreciation and have a big impact:
- Say "thank you" to the security officers you see each day
- Write a handwritten thank you note or send an email to a security officer you work with every day
- Acknowledge their contributions during a staff meeting or other gathering
