More than 75 patients received free dental care during the University of Maryland School of Dentistry's (UMSOD) Mission of Mercy clinic held this month at the Universities at Shady Grove.
The clinic provided essential dental services to 76 uninsured and underserved adults, helping to improve oral health and overall well-being. The effort was made possible through the dedication of UMSOD students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
Held each April and October, the Mission of Mercy clinic brings together UMSOD volunteers and partners, including Catholic Charities, to expand access to care for patients in need.
