Tural Mammadli

Tural Mammadli will defend his dissertation on Thursday, March 26, at 10 a.m. The dissertation study, Patterns in Gender Marginalization Stress Experiences of Transgender and Nonbinary Persons of Color Living in the United States: Correlation with Health and Intimate Partner Outcomes,” identifies distinct patterns of gender marginalization stress among transgender and nonbinary people of color and examines how these patterns relate to demographic factors, health outcomes, and intimate partner violence.

Tural’s dissertation committee is chaired by Dr. Darren Whitfield and includes Dr. Paul Sacco, Dr. Roderick Rose, Dr. Typhanye Dyer, and Dr. Jarrod Call.
