Join the UMB Reads! community at noon March 24 for our virtual discussion of "The Courage Gap: 5 Steps to Braver Action" by Margie Warrell, PhD.

Participants are encouraged to read through Step 2 in advance, as we will explore key themes from the opening chapters and reflect together on what it means to practice courage in everyday moments. Warrell invites readers to consider how fear can limit our actions and how intentionally choosing courage can help us speak up, step forward, and take meaningful action even when it feels uncomfortable.

As part of our current focus on the core value set of Equity and Justice, this discussion will offer space to consider how braver action strengthens belonging, accountability, and shared responsibility within our UMB community. Whether you are joining to share insights, ask questions, or simply listen and learn alongside colleagues, all are welcome.

Come ready to reflect, connect, and consider how small acts of courage can create meaningful change in our work and community.
