Darien Weatherspoon, DDS, MPH, assistant professor in the Department of Dental Public Health, has received a five-year, $2.3 million National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research grant as co-principal investigator of the AMEND study.
In collaboration with researchers from Duke University and Thomas Jefferson University, the team will identify factors driving disparities in head and neck cancer outcomes to inform evidence-based interventions and improve population health.
