Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Clinical Nurse Leader Ceremony

Doors open at 8 a.m. and the procession starts at 8:45 a.m.

Master's and Doctoral Ceremony

Doors open at 1 p.m. and the procession starts at 1:45 p.m.

No graduate/guest entry will be allowed as of 10 minutes prior to the procession start.

Regalia

All graduates must wear regalia.

  • Order regalia through Oak Hill 
  • Order announcements, nursing pins, rings, and frames through Herff Jones

Order Deadline: April 17


Join the Dean's Alumni Circle

Graduates who attend an UMSON Convocation ceremony automatically become members of the Dean’s Alumni Circle and receive a red-and-gold cord. Show your UMSON alumni pride and wear your cord at future alumni events you may attend.

Graduation Packet Pickup

Packets include (as applicable):

  • your name card for the ceremony
  • event tickets
  • alumni gift
  • honor cords (if applicable).

Packets are only available prior to the event and will not be available at the ceremony. Packets are mailed only to out-of-state students. Packets not picked up will be mailed to the address on record after the ceremony.

The number of guest tickets available will be based on the number of graduates who RSVP.

Sigma or any other cords must be ordered through the appropriate organization and are not provided by UMSON.

Pickup dates/times:

  • Baltimore Location: Suite 101
    Friday, May 8, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • USG Location (only for students who attend classes at USG): Building I, 107C
    Thursday, May 7, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
