March 30: ‘Uncertain Terms: Consumer Privacy in the World of Digital Health Tech’
March 03, 2021The Law & Health Care Program at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites you to join Jessica L. Roberts, professor of law, Leonard H. Childs Chair in Law, professor of medicine, and director, Health Law & Policy Institute at the University of Houston Law Center, for a presentation on emerging issues in health law and policy.
Roberts specializes in genetics and the law, health law, and disability law. Roberts' research operates at the intersection of health law, ethics, and social justice. Her recent scholarship focuses on people’s legal interests in their genetic data. Roberts has received funding from the Greenwall Foundation and the National Institutes of Health for her work on the legal implications of genetic technology.
This event will be held via Zoom from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 30. The program is free, but registration is required.
