Come tutor local middle school and high school students with A Bridge to Academic Excellence (ABAE). Tutor training is Sept. 18, with tutoring from 10 a.m. to noon most Saturdays starting Oct. 2 at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy's Pharmacy Hall.

ABAE was formed to provide tutoring and mentoring for middle and high school students who needed help learning various subjects. Today, ABAE offers tutoring in algebra I and II, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, biology, English/writing, SAT math, and SAT verbal.
