The Elm

The Associated Italian American Charities of Maryland, through the generous funding from the Saint Agnes Hospital Foundation, seeks to support the aspiration of a student(s) pursuing a degree in nursing.

The award for this scholarship is in the amount of $10,000 annually. The award is intended to be used during the traditional academic year (fall through spring) and for academic purposes such as tuition, fees, room, board, and/or books.

Funds Available:

• $5,000 for the Spring 2022 Semester - application due Dec. 10, 2021
• $10,000 for the 2022 - 23 Academic Year - application due March 31, 2021

Eligibility Criteria:  To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant:

• Must be a current resident of the state of Maryland
• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing in the state of Maryland
• Must be pursuing a baccalaureate (four-year program) degree in nursing
• Must be a rising senior in the nursing program
• Preference given to Italian heritage (but not required)
