Nurse Corps Scholarship Opportunity

The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA), Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) has opened the scholarship application cycles for health professionals and students. Eligible nursing students can apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program and receive financial support in exchange for committing to serve in high-need areas across the country upon graduation.
Mercersburg Summer Programs in PA – Health Services Summer Intern
Mercersburg Summer Programs invites nursing students to apply for its health services summer internship (tentative dates: Mid-June to Early August). Under the direction of the Health & Wellness Center RNs, the intern will assist in providing health care and first aid services to campers. The health services intern is often the first contact for campers, counselors and directors in the event of a medical need. Interns must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license in good standing, and are recommended to have had a COVID-19 vaccination. They will receive free room and board for the duration of the program, as well as a salary.
