The NIH is hosting an information session for interested students to learn more about the NIH Clinical Research Residency Program. Information will be provided about the Clinical Center Nursing Center and the application process for the upcoming Fall 2021 cohort of residents.

The CRNRP is a 12-month transition to practice program targeted for new graduate nurses interested in a career in the exciting specialty practice of clinical research nursing. The nurse residency program is proudly accredited with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs. Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center: Student Nurse Externship
Application Deadline: Monday, Feb. 1, 2021

The Student Nurse Externship Program is a paid eight-week mentoring program for nursing students (June 7 – July 31, 2021). Students practice the skills they've learned throughout the year, while developing new talents in the process. A hands-on curriculum is complemented with classroom presentations and educational seminars. The program is open to students in accredited nursing programs who have at least a 3.0 GPA.

 To apply, students must submit: a completed online application (jobs.hopkinsmedicine.org, requisition # 300664); upload an updated resume, and complete an online assessment. Applicants who best meet the requirements and have submitted all necessary paperwork will be contacted for a phone or in-person interview. At the interview, the following documents must be provided: current transcript, current CPR card, two letters of recommendation from clinical instructors, MD CNA certification (or proof of application for CNA certification)
