As the Nurse Support Program II (NSP II) funded by the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission and administered by the Maryland Higher Education Commission continues to engage nursing and state leaders on the development of additional faculty-focused programs to enhance nursing education in our state, there is a need to gather more up-to-date data on nursing faculty and nurse educators.

One of the goals of the Maryland Nursing Workforce Center is to collect information that can be used to develop a stronger nursing workforce. Better data would inform new and necessary investments in nursing education.

Access to nursing care means healthier communities. Strengthening nursing education is vital to ensuring the health care needs of Marylanders are met now and in the future.

As a nurse educator, you can help by completing this survey. It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. All of the information you provide will remain completely confidential. Your prompt participation will allow us to provide survey data at the upcoming Maryland Council of Deans and Directors of Nursing Programs Meeting on March 20, 2020; NSP II Faculty Focused Programs Workgroup Meeting on April 17, 2020; and Maryland Nursing Workforce Center Meeting on May 13, 2020.

On behalf of the Nurse Support Program II and Maryland Nursing Workforce Center, we would like to thank you for your partnership in researching the present and future nursing workforce in our State.
