Through Sept. 4, UMB Student Affairs is welcoming new and continuing students to the University with our annual event series, UMB Welcomes You!
You can attend over 15 events that provide students the opportunity to meet other students, learn about campus resources, and have fun! Events include a Netflix watch party, a time management workshop for parents and caregivers, a trivia showdown, a virtual paint night, and our annual Fall Fest!

Uber Eats Vouchers Available During Events
As part of UMB Student Affairs’ continuous effort to address food security concerns among the student population at UMB, students who attend this year’s Welcome Trivia Showdown, the Watch Party, Food for Thought, or Fall Fest are eligible to receive an Uber Eats voucher, while supplies last.
Vouchers can be redeemed in all countries with access to Uber Eats, so whether you’re joining an event from on-campus housing or from across the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal on us.
Vouchers are valid only within the window designated for each event (see below). Vouchers are limited to one per student.
Voucher Windows for Each Event
- Watch Party: I Am Not Your Negro - Uber Eats vouchers can be redeemed Monday, Aug. 31, between 5 - 9 p.m.
- Welcome Trivia Showdown: Uber Eats vouchers can be redeemed Wednesday, Sept. 2, between 5 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
- Food for Thought: I Am Not Your Negro - Uber Eats vouchers can be redeemed Thursday, Sept. 3, between 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Fall Fest: Uber Eats vouchers can be redeemed Friday, Sept. 4, between 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
