Children's National Hospital is now accepting applications for their Summer and Fall 2021 Pediatric Nurse Residency Program, also known as the Transition to Practice Program (TPP). The 12-month program is Accredited with Distinction from the ANCC and designed to provide the nurse resident with an opportunity to transition into the role of a professional nurse under the guidance and support of our clinical nursing staff, nurse educators, and program facilitators.

Qualifications: The TPP is offered twice a year to newly-licensed graduate nurses from an accredited nursing program with a passion for children. All new graduates with less than one year of clinical experience are eligible to participate in the program after obtaining licensure.
