Congratulations to Laurette Hankins, associate dean for development and alumni relations, who participated in the "UMB's Got Talent" show on Dec. 17 and took home not one but two viewer choice awards: Best Overall and Best Stage Presence. Hankins performed a Maryland-themed version, for which she wrote the lyrics, of Rogers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!"
Ayamba Ayuk, office manager in the Office of Research and Scholarship, served as a judge.
