The Francis King Carey School of Law will host a special program to discuss the award-winning book, How to Save a Constitutional Democracy, co-written by Tom Ginsburg, JD, PhD, and Aziz Huq, JD, both on faculty at the University of Chicago Law School. 

The event will feature one of the book’s authors, Huq, as well as the following individuals from the School of Law in conversation:

  • Paula Monopoli, JD, Sol and Carlyn Hubert professor of law, and founding director, Women Leadership and Equality Program
  • Robert Percival, JD, Robert F. Stanton professor of law, and director, Environmental Law Program
  • Chukwukpee Nzegwu, JD '20

The book, which has won several prestigious prizes, explores the problems of constitutional democracy throughout the world, particularly in the United States, and proposes political and legal solutions for maintaining constitutionalism and democracy here and abroad.
