Rachel Stein, BSN ’19, a current Doctor of Nursing Practice Family Nurse Practitioner specialty student, will present “The Unconventional Journey: From Patient to Nurse” about her story of overcoming extreme obstacles to finish her nursing degree. She’ll speak about the care she received at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she works as a registered nurse, and how it helped to shape her into the nurse she is today.
