The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) is a convening body comprised of diverse stakeholders from across the School of Social Work (SSW), including staff, faculty, students, and administration as well as alumni and community representatives. These stakeholders collaborate to strategize, make recommendations, and act toward creating a SSW community that is inclusive, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
The DEIC meets monthly via Zoom and is open to any member of the SSW community. Please join us! Meetings for the 2021-2022 academic year will be held from 12:15 p.m.-1:45 p.m. on the following dates:
