Father Shinto, a professor from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences in Kochi, India, will deliver the lecture at the SSW.


The University of Maryland School of Social Work (SSW) has partnered with Rajagiri College of Social Sciences in Kochi, India, on various projects for more than a decade. SSW is pleased to reciprocate Rajagiri’s hospitality by hosting students and faculty from the school this summer from July 1-12. They will visit field agency sites and attend summer classes. 

Father Shinto, an esteemed Rajagiri professor, will deliver a lecture on July 10 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Room 3E34 of the SSW. The topic is “Psychosocial Well-Being of Children and Adolescents in India: Issues, Challenges.”

All students, faculty, and staff from across the campus are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided at no cost.
