On May 6, UMB’s Promise Heights initiative launched a special campaign in support of B’more for Healthy Babies, as now, more than ever, we’re all thinking about how to keep our families safe. In celebration of Mother’s Day, Promise Heights is looking to gift household items to new mothers, to support their journey to create a healthy and nurturing home for their babies. We hope that you’ll choose to honor your mother by generously supporting our special “B’more 2020” Mother’s Day drive.
Since 2009, Promise Heights’ B’more for Healthy Babies (BHB) has significantly reduced infant mortality in the Upton/Druid Heights neighborhoods through innovative strategies and critical community partnerships. We offer valued services to every pregnant woman; build programs that emphasize policy change, service improvements, and community mobilization; and nurture important behavioral changes.
Please help make this year’s Mother’s Day even more special for new moms of Promise Heights. Each gift of $25 will provide the purchase of a onesie and a visit from a Resource Mom or Dad to assess the family’s needs. Or give any amount of your choice.
