These trainings are geared to people who serve seniors in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties or who live in either of these counties. More specifically, the training involves what to look for in patients regarding mental health – especially during an isolating pandemic – and how to help funnel patients toward licensed mental health professionals. In short, it’ll highlight notable risk factors and warning signs as well as strategies for both crisis and non-crisis situations.
Participants simply need to take part in a 2-hour training on their own, before the event. Registration is limited.
