Aug. 21: New Nursing Faculty Fellowships
August 07, 2020Newly hired full-time faculty members of UMSON may be eligible for the New Nursing Faculty Fellowship awarded by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Faculty must have been offered employment by July 1, 2019 and begin employment by fall 2020. You may not have previously received this award at another institution. Awards are for a period of up to five years, at $10,000 per year, as long as the recipient remains in good standing as a full-time faculty member.
All nominations must be submitted by the Dean's office. Potential nominees should contact Deborah Prout promptly to confirm eligibility and the materials required for submittal. All materials are due to the Dean's office by August 21, 2020 in order to comply with the August 31 submittal deadline.
