Aging Research Fellowship in Costa Rica for Postmaster’s, Postdoctoral Degrees
October 01, 2021We are pleased to announce an exciting partnership with the University of Costa Rica that will support post-master degree and post-doctoral degree fellows to conduct aging research abroad.
The Alicia and Ya Ya Global Fellowship in Aging Research, which was established through a generous donation by Marco Chacón in 2019, will allow fellows from Costa Rica to spend six months to one year in Baltimore, and fellows from the University of Maryland, Baltimore to spend six months to one year in Costa Rica.
The inaugural fellows will be selected through an application process this coming year and are expected to begin in fall 2022. To be eligible for participation, you must currently have a GPA of 3.0, be in good standing, and be interested in research area related to aging/gerontology.
