Did you know that Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) as a racial and/or ethnic identity is not counted by the U.S. census? This means that there is no data to highlight the particular experiences and needs of SWANA community members.
In this session, you'll be able to learn from a panel of SWANA students, staff, and faculty as they reflect on their SWANA identity and share their lived experiences at UMB and more broadly in the U.S.
