The Staff Senate is collaborating with the UMB Office of Community Engagement to identify needs and support West Baltimore families this holiday season. This holiday season there are two opportunities to give.
UMB is partnering with The Foundry, a local church, to again host the Christmas Store at the UMB Community Engagement Center (in a limited capacity). This project provides families a unique opportunity to purchase gifts at a significantly reduced price so that they can experience the joy of giving. All proceeds from the Christmas Store are donated to local organizations that support youth initiatives in Southwest Baltimore. Donated funds are also being accepted. This year, in our ever-changing environment, funds raised through the Holiday Donation Drive will be used to support needs for families in West Baltimore as they arise throughout the holiday season and beyond (including food, clothing, and other needs).
