TL1 Pre- and Post-Doctoral Clinical Research Training Awards — Call for Applications Extended to July 8
June 12, 2019The University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the UMB ICTR/CTSA TL1 Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Clinical Research Training Awards has been extended to July 8 at 5 p.m.
The purpose of the TL1 Clinical Research Training Award is to support the training of biomedical, behavioral, and clinical researchers through individual pre-doctoral research training within the schools of dentistry, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and social work on the UMB campus.
The TL1 training program is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) program. Funding for this TL1 training program is provided through the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) and is a joint CTSA partnership between UMB and Johns Hopkins University.
